TUXEN AV-CENTER has its roots back to 1955, when TUXEN FOTO opened in the heart of Copenhagen. From the beginning, TUXEN FOTO let out recording and presentation equipment under the name “Foto Udlejningen”. In the late 80s, TUXEN FOTO became TUXEN FOTO & AV-CENTER, and the development from slides and film to modern AV equipment based on it and sound became a significant part of the current TUXEN AV-CENTER.
In the beginning of 2005, we took over the operation of the company SGU LYD & LYS, which was a sales and rental company mainly with sound and lighting installation of cafés, bars, venues and clubs as well as rental of technical equipment for events and concerts. We have thus become a dynamic combination of solid knowledge from the past and large competence in present day modern technique.
We can now offer complete solutions with stages, sound, lighting, AV equipment and technicians, so that you as customer only need one supplier.
Our success is not least due to the attitude that the smallest customer may one day become the largest. Satisfied customers make good relations which again creates success. This is probably one of the reasons why we are looking forward to our 60th anniversary in May 2015.
